Manson Guitar Works are pleased to announce the launch of a new MB Signature Guitar, the Manson KR-1. The KR-1 comes from the award-winning MA series, but specced to be full stealth in appearance, MB shape in outline. Stealthy Dry Satin Black finish with black Gotoh hardware and custom black paddle switches for the in-built Sustainiac Sustainer; a guitar for the night. Or Knight perhaps?

From the shadows, the freshly tweaked Manson PF-1 bridge pickup delivers what reviewers have described as “immense, velvety chords that ring out with near-infinite sustain”. Combined with the three-way sustain modes of the Sustainer and a standard fit coil tap, you have a dashboard of sounds the majority of guitars can only dream of. Single coil, angular ‘alt’ brightness? It’s there. Full fat humbucker driven punch? Check. Active acoustic-like neck tones? Leave the sustainer off and that’s how your neck pickup is engaged. Sustain on and you have three voices to play with; each with infinite sustain.

The package even includes a modified Sustainer Sticker sheet. You can leave the sustainer on or…(H)off.

No KR model would be spec correct without some illumination that’s why each satin black painted maple neck has glow in the dark Luminlay side dots. Visible by day. Stage light bright at night. And what choice could there be for the fingerboard other than darkest Ebony?

Two versions will be available. The KR-1 is limited to 80 pieces worldwide and comes complete with a printed A5 certificate and Manson Exclusive black lined Hiscox hardcase. The K1T-1 edition is limited to just 20 pieces and features red anodised Manson custom hardware including volume and tone controls, custom aluminium pickup surround, truss rod adjuster and new ‘M’ engraved updated machine head buttons. A larger A4 hand signed certificate completes this package.
