The Manson Verona  model, based on the detailed specification of Matthew Bellamy’s stage guitar used during the Will Of The People Tour and now a firm part of the Muse frontman’s touring rig has just been given another make over.

Named the Verona following the Muse titled track of the same name, the Devonshire based factory had to push the boundaries further to go beyond a simple recreation of a vintage classic with high-spec parts. Knowing the guitar would be tour-tested for months on end and need to sit alongside the artist’s extensive Manson Guitars tour rack, a distinct tone and ergonomics all came to the forefront at the design process. 

A notable difference on this Verona is the bridge pick up which is our very own Dirty Rascal. Based on the classic PAF design but with an added 'little bit more of everything'. Our vintage wiring, Cast Alnico 5 magnets, US high carbon steel slugs and screws gives this pick up an extra bit of sparkle at the top end, spikier mids and meatier lows meaning it's 9.5k output retains classiness but with some added fight. Combining this wth our Custom Sustainiac system and a Gotoh 5 Seires trem opens up this model to wider sonic landscape often associated with other Manson Instruments.

However, further vintage features come from the hand selected alder in the body, a master volume and two tone controls with an Oak Grigsby 5-way selector layout and a rosewood fingerboard but again, another twist as this guitar is finished in our standout 'Tranquility Grey'. A stone like texture catching the light at different angles and drawing you in.

This guitar has an ex demo HIscox Cusom Verona case which has some surface scratches so the item is priced accordingly. Your warranty is unaffected.
