The latest edition to this range , the PF 1 8 String was designed by Simon Thorn as a hot and bright pickup; perfect for driving your amp hard and retaining articulate tone. A Sand Cast Alnico 5 magnet delivers tight lows and mids in conjunction with sparkling highs. Using American High Carbon Steel Slugs and Screws, 43 AWG wire ensuring ultimate tour ready resilience demanded by Matthew Bellamy.  

This pick up was featured first on the Custom Oryx 8 string built for the artist and made its debut on the huge Muse anthem ‘Unravelling’ and live across the festival circuit in 2025
