Manson Guitar Works are proud to release their most significant reissue guitar in the history of the company’s 46 years, the Black Edition Matthew Bellamy signature guitar. Three years in the making, the journey of the Muse frontman, Manson Guitar Works and guitar effects genius Ron Joyce have embarked on to create the ultimate MGW replica and is reflected in the painstaking level of detail these guitars have undergone to come to fruition. 

A major public airing on Muse’s Time Is Running Out music video release revealed an instrument that stretched the boundaries of what a guitar could, or should be in a player’s hands. A all combined to be an instrument that challenged all perceptions of the role of the electric guitar not just in that period but for decades to come.

Now it’s available with a new interpretation of the design brief for 2026 featuring our custom Sustainiac system, bespoke Zvex Fuzz Factory circuit, an updated MIDI strip controller and our all new MGW FL Wah. The original circuit designer, Ron Joyce, a continuing presence in many iconic Manson Guitars has once updated circuitry based on some of his latest work to ensure the player full control over its wide ranging sonic palette. 

Another new edition to the Manson pick up range can be found here as the HP90 is unveiled. This was developed over the last year with a focus on clear classic tones with headroom for a more agressive stance whenever required bringing power and balance.

This particular edition sees some light relicing to echo the journey of the artist's guitar which adds more depth and edge to an already outstanding piece.

A beautful swamp ash body combined with a hard maple neck gives a warm resonance whilst a dark rosewood fingerboard was chosen to keep the aesthetic close to the orignal.

Gotoh 510 hardware ensures maximum tuning stability for the hardest of players whilst retaining a sleek, classic look.
