The Manson Cort Classic TC comes from the Cort Stage Series of guitars, instruments that are designed by Hugh Manson to work on both stage and studio, with lavish attention to detail, excellent playability and great build quality and design at an incredible price point. The TC features an ash body, maple neck with rosewood/jatoba fingerboard and a pair of single coil pickups designed from scratch to give classic tones but with a modern twist so they can perform in more contemporary settings.
The body design is the MA shape, meaning it is fully contoured for an ultimate playing experience. The neck profile retains a classic feel of 60s guitars being smooth, slim and fast to play but with a modern twist on the fingerboard that sports a compound radius from 12-inches to nearly16-inches. Open chords or fast soloing are all made possible; neck adjustments are made easy by the Manson spoke wheel truss rod design. The 22 frets are easily accessible.
Guitar Interactive Magazine praised the classic meets modern approach
"The spec is great, as is the design, but what really made me smile is how this guitar made me play. Whatever sound I dialled up, whatever I played, the guitar was right there with me. I felt like it had my back, which in turn inspired me to take my playing in all sorts of exciting directions. That’s a feeling that’s invaluable at any price point."
In stock and fully set up by the Manson team in both trans Scotch Blonde or solid Blue Ice Metallic.
