Vacancy: Guitar Sprayer/Finisher

We are looking for a guitar paint sprayer/finisher to work in our beautiful Dartmoor National Park location in Devon.

The role includes preparation, painting and final finishing of durable and repeatable finishes on a wide range of wood species.

Knowledge of various paint systems including 2K, Poly-urethane, Polyester and Nitro Cellulose.

Including the chemistry of paints, catalysts and solvents.

Ability to prep to a high standard including grain fill, paint, buff and polish a guitar or bass with a high degree of skill.

Has an understanding of wood properties relative to paint finishes (expansion with temp/humidity, characteristics of different species/densities etc)

Excellent organisational skills, working in a team, problem solving and good communication skills.

Demonstration of initiative and self management.

Capacity to multi task and meeting deadlines for simultaneous projects.

Attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy and timeliness.

Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Passion and knowledge of the musical instrument business.
